# Usage

Review project costs, tokens, requests, and team activity

The Usage view helps you understand how a project consumes Cortecs services. You can compare cost, token volume, and request activity across teams, users, API keys, models, and providers.

## Choose a time range

Use the preset periods such as **This Week**, **This Month**, **This Quarter**, or **This Year**. You can also review previous periods or select **Custom** to define your own date range.

Changing the time range updates the totals, charts, and breakdowns throughout the page.

## Choose how usage is grouped

Under **View by**, select the level you want to compare:

| View             | What it shows                                                   |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Teams**        | Usage grouped by the team assigned to each API key              |
| **Users**        | Usage grouped by project member                                 |
| **Users + Keys** | Usage grouped by project member with individual API key details |

## Select a metric

Switch between:

* **Cost** for spending in EUR
* **Tokens** for input and output token volume
* **Requests** for the number of requests

The selected metric is used throughout the charts.

## Filter teams and users

Use **Filter teams** to show one or more teams. Leave the filter empty to include all available teams.

When viewing usage by users or by users and keys, you can also use **Filter users**. In the **Users + Keys** view, select individual keys when you need a more detailed comparison.

Because each API key belongs to a team, its requests are attributed to the team selected when the key was created. See [API Keys](/web-console/api-keys.md) and [Teams](/web-console/teams.md) for setup instructions.

## Understand the report

The Usage page contains several summaries:

| Section            | What it shows                                             |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Total Costs**    | Combined cost for the selected period and filters         |
| **Total Requests** | Number of requests for the selected period and filters    |
| **Total Tokens**   | Combined token volume for the selected period and filters |
| **Usage Overview** | How the selected metric changes over time                 |
| **Model Usage**    | Usage split by model                                      |
| **Provider Usage** | Usage split by provider                                   |

Use the available chart controls to switch between accumulated, stacked, bar, line, or detailed views where offered.
